Strictly speaking, this is a beer shop rather than a brewery pub as such. But it does have a few tables inside where you can enjoy one of the many options on offer. 

It has flavours from all over the world, but as the name of this establishment says, Csak a jó sör, which translates as “Only good beer”. 

It is located on a street close to the city centre, about a 15-minute walk from the majestic and impressive St. Stephen’s Basilica. 

Beer Brothers

Just outside the Astoria metro stop you’ll find this place where they offer a wide range of beers, many of them local. This will make you discover how many flavours and nuances exist in the local culture. 

Its appearance is reminiscent of a small factory. With its ceiling and the colour of the furniture, it has a certain industrial touch that gives it a unique charm and personality. 

It’s also a great place to accompany your beers with a snack. The food is very good but remember that you are here for the great variety and quality of the beer.

It has a wide range of beers, with flavours and nuances as varied as its own drinks menu; the cognac&sour cherry, the rum&plum beers or the dark Cingulus Porter.

Their selection keeps growing and you can come back at different times throughout the year and they will keep surprising you with new products like Black Cherry, the Popcorn IPA or seasonal beers like Christmas beer.

They offer all the Rizmajer beers you can imagine and you can buy them in half litre, litre and two litre formats. On rare occasions, and on a limited basis, they have “guest beers” which are always a hit.

They have a kitchen that works very well and not only offer small dishes to fool the stomach but also delight the palate with high quality dishes such as pastrami or ribs.
