We can’t start with any other than the Sziget Festival. It is the best known and one of the most spectacular. The festival among festivals is held in Hajógyári-Sziget.

Their good vibes are transmitted in each of the activities they organise; parades, activities, surprises, freedom and lots of music. The music is the main reason for your visit to Sziget festival, but it’s everything else that will keep you coming back.

This year, artists such as Nelly Furtado, Armin van Buuren, Anyma, Boris Brejcha, Chappell Roan will be performing at Sziget.

Katlan Festival 2024

It is one of the most spectacular festivals in the whole country. Not only because of its fast growing popularity and the high level of electronic music it plays both in the DJ booth and on the dancefloor, but also because of its location; a cave in the Quarry of Tárnok.

Techno, House and more sub-styles of electronic music are found in another recently created festival, where you will enjoy not only amazing DJ sets, but also parties organised by the DJs themselves. The line-up improves year after year, mixing big names in the industry with young local talent.

Bass Paradise 2024

We go to Törökbálint, west of Budapest, looking for a good mix of rock and electronic music, although it is the latter that is the most popular in the line-up with names like; 1991, A.M.C., Barely Alive, Grafix, Jessica Audiffred or Virtual Riot among many others.

Three non-stop days of the best of the electronic music scene playing to make you dance surrounded by a great atmosphere. This young festival has managed to grow and make a name for itself on the national festival calendar.

Bass Paradise is another new festival, organised for the second time. Although it is hosted by a rock-heavy venue, it’s full-on electronic. So expect bass music, drum & bass.

Let’s go to Orfű, Camping Panoráma to lower our heart rate a little after so much electronic music. We arrive at a festival designed for each and every member of the family.

Everyone has something to enjoy at this festival; from pop-rock concerts on any of the stages to a stroll around the lake. An extensive programme of activities over the four days’ welcomes everyone.

The festival will feature names familiar to Hungarians such as Carson Coma, Krubi and Elephant.

Kolorádó Festival 2024

We continue with another festival that thinks about families, but also takes nature and the environment into account. Kolorádó offers that and much more. With the concepts of freedom, nature and diversity as their flagship, they create their own universe for four days.

The number of visitors and artists has been growing year by year but their mentality and way of doing things hasn’t changed one bit; nature first and foremost and don’t try to upload anything to the net, you won’t get a connection. A lot of Hungarian sound from artists like Red Axes, Elefánt, Krúbi, Carson Coma or Call super among many others.

Waldorfeszt 2024

In the Törökmező area, an hour’s drive north of Budapest, a forest is home to one of the most hippie festivals in Europe.

It features concerts, experimentation with new sounds, dances and an extensive arts-based programme, ranging from poetry readings to theatre performances.

Total disconnection from your day-to-day life takes place with canoe trips on the river, yoga at sunrise, meditation and lots of peace and love. If you want to connect with nature and meet people who love life and the environment as much as you do, this is the place to be.

Bánkitó Festival 2024

The people of Bánk take centre stage at this festival, which has two centres; music and theatre. On the musical side, the reason we are here, they focus on local music, showcasing new talents and names known to Hungarians.

Their mission is none other than to bring the most contemporary sound. Concerts where, as they say, you will hear the music that others will hear next year. A real luxury within an environmentally conscious group with a great community spirit.

Vajdahunyad Castle Summer Music Festival 2024

Our latest parade is designed for classical music lovers; did you think nobody had thought of you? Big mistake, Budapest thinks of everyone.

The great enthusiasts of this musical genre are in luck as it has the most beautiful setting of all those mentioned. It may not have the magic of a forest, but hearing and enjoying Beethoven, Vivaldi or Verdi in the Vajdahunyad Castle is breathtaking and not to be missed.

In addition to classical concerts, there will also be performances by local folk bands, featuring the best of local music.
